Wonder how this might play with women during the gubernatorial campaign?
A former assistant Virginia attorney general has filed suit in the U.S. District Court in Richmond alleging that she was fired illegally because she complained that younger, less-experienced men were paid more than older, more-experienced women.
The defendants, including former Attorney General Jerry W. Kilgore, the office and five other employees, have 21 days from the time they are served with a copy of the suit to file a formal response.
Every time somebody asks Kaine about the ACLU, he should ask the questioner whether Kilgore is suggesting by his criticism that discrimination in housing should be tolerated -- and even produce a TV ad to that effect, if Kilgore persists.

It looks like part of a pattern of discrimination, to me. First Kilgore supports segregation (Kaine's first ACLU case), then discrimination against the elderly (Kaine's second and last ACLU case), and now this?

I would assign absolutely no weight to the unproven allegations of this lawsuit.

Who knows, but as the Bush folks have shown us, it just takes one anecdote to justify a position or attack.

I wonder how Judith Jagdmann and Elizabeth McClanahan feel about this?
